FAQ
How many hours is this class?
This is Florida’s required 45-hour Sales Associate Post-Licensing Course. Each classroom hour consists of 50 minutes, and the required end-of-course examination is included within the approved course hours.
The course must be completed before the first renewal following your initial Florida sales associate licensure. Failure to complete the post-licensing requirement by that deadline causes the license to become null and void.
Where is this course held?
This course is delivered live online through an approved livestream classroom.
It is not a self-paced or prerecorded course. Candidates attend the instructor-led sessions on the published dates and times from a suitable location with reliable internet access, working audio, and the equipment required to participate.
Your course access link and login instructions will be provided before the first class. Livestream classroom credit applies while the instructor is teaching live and the candidate is in attendance.
What if I can't make a class?
Contact Blu Street Academy as soon as you know you may miss class. Late arrivals, early departures, disconnections, and other missed instructional periods are included in your total absence time.
Florida does not permit Blu Street Academy to issue satisfactory completion when a candidate misses more than 10% of the required instruction. For the complete 45-hour course, 10% equals:
- 4.5 classroom hours, or
- 225 instructional minutes
Attendance requirements cannot be waived because of payment, work obligations, scheduling conflicts, or satisfactory academic performance.
Florida rules permit make-up instruction associated with the illness of the student or a family member. The make-up class must cover the original material missed and generally may not extend more than 30 days beyond the scheduled end-of-course examination without FREC approval. Other emergency and transfer requests are handled under Blu Street Academy’s enrollment and transfer policies.

What if I fail the end of course exam?
A score of at least 75% is required to pass the end-of-course examination.
If you do not pass:
- You must wait at least 30 days from the original examination date before retesting.
- You may retest one time within one year of the original examination.
- The retest will use a different approved examination form.
- If you do not pass the permitted retest, you must repeat the course before taking the end-of-course examination again.
Because the post-licensing requirement must be completed before your first license-renewal deadline, candidates should avoid scheduling the course or examination too close to the license expiration date.
Why should I choose Blu Street Academy?
Many schools can provide access to the required material. Blu Street Academy is designed for candidates who want a more structured and supportive live-learning experience.
